OOC: I think Dark is gone. So......I'll get us out of here. This is going to be a short, crappy post. Sorry.
IC:
At last the hunter accomplished fixing the ship. Within seconds after completion of the repairs Jessica had the vessel lifting off and heading into orbit. They had succeeded just in time. The complex exploded in a dazzling array of smoke and fire. Cazzik, Red Seven, and Jerik forced the hunter into a holding cell and stripped him of all weapons. Seven remained behind to guard him. Wyn returned to the bridge and approached the comm system. He pressed a few buttons and opened a channel to the other ship in their party.
"Cadden. Everything is set over here. Could you dock with us? We need to discuss the information we gained on the planet."

"Not a problem," Cadden's voice came in over the comm. "I'll rendezvous and dock now."
Within moments, the Inferno secured itself on the hull of the Infinity, and the docking tube latched on. Cadden, accompanied by his HRD, made their way to Cazzik's location. "So," he said, entering the room Cazzik was in, "what did you get?"
OOC: Also crappy.

Cazzik led Cadden to the conference room and sat down on one side of the table. He had motioned for Jessica to follow them.
"This City of the Jedi needs to be located. I have a.......feeling that our enemies all ready no its location. If it really houses an advanced alien technology, then we can not allow it to fall into the hands of those who follow the dark path."
He slid the data pad across the table to Cadden.
"Thats all the information we gathered from the complex. I believe Quinis Asanis had figured out where the city was. But he was killed before he could claim it, or tell anyone where it was. What we need is hidden in this information. I all ready have some droids working on locating any hidden details."
OOC: Damn, another short and crappy one.

Cadden nodded. "Neddac was built after me," he said, slowly, matter-of-factly. It was no longer a surprise that the armored individual was a Human Replica Droid. "He's equipped with the best computing technology Eleyanos has to offer. I'd suggest allowing him to analyze the data. He should prove to be able to find results much faster than any of the droids on this ship."
Neddac, like his predecessor, Black one-eighteen, was built to be a companion and aide to Cadden during his travels. He had all the same skills, aside from lightsaber combat-related, as well as all the same attributes, as Cadden did. The only difference was, Neddac thinked logically, and only logically. After all, what would one expect? Even though Neddac looked human, he was still a droid, and couldn't help but think logically anyway.
But logic is what was needed most. The Force trail had gone cold from this point, and without a bearing to go off of, Cadden would be unable to do any tracking from this point. It was back to the rudimentary methods. Normally, he would have a crack at it, but it was clear time was of the essence, and thus faster computational speeds and greater accuracy were needed. The kind found in a droid.
And thus where his proposal came to play. With Neddac's droid-like attributes, as well as his personality and skills being a mirror of Cadden's own, it would only make sense that the HRD would be an ideal candidate for the job.
OOC: Take it or leave it. At least I successfully transferred a crappy post to a decent one.

OOC: Please ignore any connections with Eleyanos in this thread (and predecessor, of course). I decided to return Cadden to his Mandalorian story, but without the extensive complicated background of him being born before the Clone Wars, etc.
Any questions, just PM me. Cadden and company will remain the same this time around, however. I'll figure out where Neddac was built later. Probably Udine. Dalen's not returning. Too many characters to manage.
I think everything else should be fine, though. If it doesn't make sense with Cadden's reversion back to the Mandalore storyline, just ignore the detail.

Jessica sat quietly as the two Jedi conversed. They seemed concerned over something called the City of the Jedi and Jessica wasn't entirely sure what that was but she just assumed they must have found something about it back on the planet. She leaned over slightly to get a better view of the datapad Cazzik had given to Cadden. "I bet we could have decoded this a lot faster had someone not decided to blow up the reactor," she said, grumbling to herself. She was pretty good with computers, but she wasn't that great of a slicer. She knew enough to get by, but probably not enough to accomplish the task Cazzik had laid before them.

"Good idea. Give the data to Neddac. Let's see what he can get out of it. As soon as we have the coordinates for the city we're leaving."
The Jedi Master looked at Jessica. He couldn't quite make out what she had said, but he could tell what kind of mood she was in by the tone of her voice.
"I realize you are frustrated. We all are. But things happen for a reason. It is the will of the Force. You'll need to remember that if you're ever going to be a Jedi."

The hunter waited in silence.
A holding cell... How many of these had he seen during the years? Countless. And how many had managed to hold him?
None.
They had taken his weapons, and left the clone to guard him. Fools. They had left him his other possesions, however... His armour. And all the tiny objects he had slipped within.
Slowly, he rose to his feet, stepping towards the force field keeping him from freedom. At least they had been smart enough not to use a holding cell with a simple mechanical lock...
His shielded eyes swept towards Red Seven, letting his mind speak to the clone.
You served the Jedi. And fought the Sith.

Jessica just stared blankly at Cazzik, his remark taking her completely by surprise. "A Jedi?" She asked incredulously, "You're joking, right? I couldn't possibly be a Jedi, I don't have the... You know," she made a strange gesture with her hands almost as though she were a magician.

"The powers?" Cadden responded with a grin, sliding the datapad into his uniform. How Cazzik could have discovered Jessica being Force sensitive and Cadden not, he did not know. The other must have had a higher connection to the Force than Cadden had. Whatever the case was, now that the truth was out, Cadden could sense something in Jessica... it was faint, dormant, but it was there. "People don't choose whether they have the ability to use the Force... the Force chooses them." He got out of his seat, and nodded to the two. "If you'll excuse me..."
Cadden then left the room. He would love to sit around and discuss philosophy on the Force all day, but they had a job to do. He made his way back to the Inferno, Where Neddac awaited. Producing the datapad, Cadden tossed it to the HRD, whom in return caught it.
"What is this?" the HRD asked, curiously.
"There's some data on there that needs to be decyphered and decoded," Cadden responded. "And it needs to be done so quickly. I feel you're the best choice for the task around here." The HRD nodded in agreement. "We're looking for the location of a place called the City of the Jedi," Cadden continued. "The sooner we find it, the better, as we may have to fight for the place."
"I'll get to work on it right away," Neddac responded, and took the datapad to the computer terminal, where he plugged it in and got to work. Cadden also had other things to do, and so he left Neddac to his work. He needed to prepare himself for battle. Cazzik was correct in his feelings... Cadden could feel dark times pressing among the crew of the Infinity, and he and those close to him would be sucked right on in with them. Whether they liked it or not.
That needed to be prevented. Cadden entered his personal quarters, and took a look at the suit of armor that rested there, neatly organized to look like it was occupied. He sighed, and got to work stripping his current armor away, in favor for the other suit.
OOC: And that will be the last you'll see of Cadden until Neddac finalizes the data and sets us on course. Cazzik, if there's anything I should know during this process, or if you do not care about it being RPed out, PM me so we can get going in a timely manner.

OOC: Cazzik, I have two things to say to ya.

This post is a continuation to the one I made on this thread.
IC:
Cadden left his personal quarters, geared up and ready for battle. He was confident, it would not be long until Neddac unlocked the location of this City of the Jedi. When that happened, he needed to be ready... he sensed battle on the horizon, and Cazzik would need all the help he could get.
As he entered the Inferno's cockpit, his timing could not have been better. The comm. buzzed, and Cadden, curious, went to answer.
"Father?" he asked, surprised. He had not put his helmet on, yet, so his facial expression was almost clear through the holo-vid link. "How did you get this frequency?"
"I asked Guan for it," Faarel responded. His look was stern, sincere, with that hint of fatherly concern. "Cadden... son... why did you not stay? I sensed the Force flowing through you, I can sense it now. Yet you chose to run from the Jedi. Why?"
Cadden shook his head, closed his eyes. "I did not run, father," he responded. "My duties are elsewhere, apart from the Jedi."
"Oh?" Faarel asked. "What do you..." Before he could finish his sentence, he recognized the armor Cadden wore, the helmet he had gripped under his left arm. "Son...."
"I know what I'm doing," Cadden retorted. "I am fulfilling our legacy. we hold a bloodline to the Mandalorians."
"Says who?" Cadden detached his gauntlet from his right sleeve, rolling it up in response to Faarel's question. The symbol was distorted over the feed, but it was clear enough to Faarel. The other's eyes widened slightly. "By the Force...." Faarel breathed. "Where did you get that symbol?"
It was an ancient-looking symbol, consisting of a crescent moon tilting back to the left, with two flames protruding near the center, arising toward the ends of the moon-shape. Surrounding the protrusions was another crescent moon which danced around and split off at its bottom, curving up and around back to the center of the original moon shape and another branch the opposite way, piercing the smaller mirror image. (OOC: I did my best to explain it. You can view the shape here.)
"I picked it up from some information I gathered at Udine," Cadden responded. Faarel immediately reacted to the statement. Did he know? It did not matter. "There is a hidden base inside the asteroid field, where great-grandfather Trak headquartered a secret Mandalorian movement, contacting his Mandalorian allies and holding meetings. I found it in the computer database, and copied it for this use."
"Son..." Faarel responded, "... Trak was not a Mandalorian." Cadden looked at his father, uncertain whether he should believe this or not. "Your great-grandfather was a Dark Jedi, who coherted with Mandalorian mercenaries. He often hid his presence in the Force when he was associated with him in the few times he fought alongside them. That symbol..." Faarel bowed his head and closed his eyes, "... that symbol has been lost since he started up that damn company."
Cadden frowned. "What do you mean?" he asked, carefully. "We do not... ?"
Faarel shook his head. "No," he said. "The only connection we hold with the Mandalorians is through Trak's interaction with them."
"Then it was you that corrupted all that data," Cadden said. Faarel nodded. "Why? Why not just destroy the entire asteroid?"
"I tried. But to do so would have not only cost me my own life, but also your future. It either must be done manually, or it must be destroyed from the outside. I did not have the firepower to destroy it from the outside, so I did what I could, before I fled."
"And the armor?" Cadden pressed.
Faarel shrugged. "With the corrupted data, it could have meant anything. I saw no harm in leaving it where it was." He leaned closer to the comm. unit. "Son... do you know what that symbol means?" Cadden shook his head. "It is the symbol of our legacy. It's not just a symbol... it's a code, a key. Use it... use it at that asteroid facility, and recover the data that Trak had kept so secret for so long."
Cadden looked at the tattoo, then back at his father. "This symbol," he said, "represents who we are?"
"No," Faarel responded. "It represents what we stood for. I do not know everything, but I do know that it was something Trak took great precautions to keep secret. It was part of the data I corrupted in the computer."
Cadden nodded. "I will find out, when I have the time." It was Faarel's turn to frown. "I've two jobs to do, father. First, help out someone I've come to call a friend... second, to raise an army." It was pointless to mention it was a Mandalorian army, Faarel already knew. "We will need all the help we can get if we're to fight the Xen'Chi." Faarel nodded, knowing better to repeat the past by denying Cadden his own choices. Had he trained him as a Jedi, like he had wanted... had he told Cadden from the start, instead of letting him find out himself, things would have been different. So different.
"Be careful, son," Faarel said.
Cadden nodded. "You too. I'll drop by when all this is over. I promise." Faarel smiled, and the link was cut. Cadden looked one last time at the tattoo, before rolling down his sleeve. He reattached the gauntlet, and brought his helmet up, securing it upon his head.
It was all a lie, he thought. He should have known. The Nomad Soul wanted him to fall to darkness. But he had failed, thanks to his sons. And, perhaps, even to his father. I promise you, father... I will unlock our past, when the time is right. But I cannot leave Cazzik, not now, not like this. And I cannot abandon my position as Mandalore... not when the need for Mandalorians, to fight the Xen'Chi, is critical.

The clone didn't respond to the hunter for what seemed like eons. In all truthfullness, he wasn't sure if he should respond at all. This.......thing was the enemy. However, he was confined. And there were Jedi Knights on board should he somehow get loose.
"Yes. My general was a Jedi Knight. And when the Sith showed themselves I did my best to protect those I served."

Cazzik laughed.
"The Force. It's called the Force. And yes, you do have it. In fact, everyone does, but you have the ability to use it. You can be a Jedi, Jessica."
He put his hand on her shoulder.
"You are much older than most who begin the training. Some parts might be more difficult because of this. However, I believe other parts will be easier. If you want, I can train you. But you should be warned. There will be temptaions; things that will try to lure you to the Dark Side. You will face very real danger, even death."
He pulled his hand away and his face became very serious.
"The life of a Jedi is not easy. You may lose friends and family because of the path. You could even lose yourself if you stray from it. But there is also no other feeling like wielding the Force to help another. It is, of course, your choice."

Jessica stared unbelievingly at him. Was this for real? Did she really have the power to control the Force? "I--don't know what to say," she finally said at last, unsure of what to make of it all. He was right, it wasn't a decision to be taken lightly, and there would certainly be dangers along the way. Was she prepared to accept that responsibility regardless of the consequences? She stood and walked over to the door. "I'll need time to think about it," she said without turning around.
Cazzik nodded, fully understanding what it was she must be going through right now. "Still, though," she continued, finally turning back to face him, "I'm grateful for the opportunity. If there was anyone out there brave enough to train me, I'm glad it's you." Then she turned and left the room, leaving Cazzik to his thoughts. Of course, as soon as the offer was made Jessica had already made up her mind, now she just needed time to figure out whether or not her choice was the right one...

OOC: Oh shut up. I'm posting right now.
IC:
Cazzik watched Jessica leave. He hadn't meant to dump this all on her like that. However, he had never been very good at these sort of things. She would come and talk to him when she was ready. He would let her know that whatever she decided, Jedi training or no, there would always be a place for her on this ship.
The Jedi Master turned and made his way to the bridge. As he entered he spoke to the comm droid.
"Open a channel to the Inferno, please."
The droid did as we was told.
"Roger, roger. Channel open."
Cazzik nodded.
"Cadden? We are running a bit short on time, my friend. Does Neddac have anything yet?"

Cadden had been leaning back in the pilot’s seat for some time, now, as he patiently waited for Neddac to finish his work. The Human Replica Droid was bound to learn of the location of this City of the Jedi. The question wasn’t if, but when. He closed his eyes, and placed himself into deep thought.
The Guardians of the Force. It was where the lineage of the Blackthornes rested, according to his father. Frankly, Cadden preferred to trust his father, over that abomination called the Nomad Soul, any day. Who wouldn’t? The bittersweet irony of the thought occurred to him only a few seconds later, as he realized what a stupid question that would make. Not even when the Nomad Soul was devouring control over Cadden’s body, did Cadden wish to be controlled by that… thing.
Then his thoughts drifted to his father. A frown creased his forehead, as he made a realization. Faarel sounded upset, worried. As if he could sense the battle going on inside Cadden. Yet it was a battle Cadden made great precautions to hide from others. He heavily doubted that even Cazzik was aware of it. Or, perhaps, he was, given how they both have walked so similar a path. But, his father’s concern over Cadden, who he was, where he was going… was he truly treading so close to the Dark Side, that he could not even see it?
He was now Mandalore, leader of the Mandalorians. Did that make him a Fallen Jedi? No, of course not… could it? After all, he was leading the Mandalorians toward a different path, one of galactic protection, not domination. The Mandalorians’ lust for battle would still be fed in this way, but would it be satisfied? This realization dawned upon him and hit him like a ton of duracrete. No, he would not let the Mandalorians arise, just to fall back into their dark ways once again. The direction he had to take was more than clear, now. Cadden needed to devote all his energies on forming the Mandalorians into a strong, warrior people. But not just warriors… warriors with a purpose, a cause. He did not just need to establish the future he dreamed for them. No, Cadden needed to ensure it.
The comm. unit beeped, and Cadden, averted from his thoughts, reached over and received the call. “Cadden?” It was Cazzik. He leaned forward, and listened. “We are running a bit short on time, my friend. Does Neddac have anything yet?”
Cadden shook his head. Not that the motion would do any good, it was an audio transmission only. Habit, he supposed. “Not yet. He –” Cadden stopped short, as the door opened behind him, and Neddac handed him the datapad. Cadden quickly skimmed over it. Coordinates. “Yeah… yeah, he just finished. I’m downloading them to the Inferno’s navicomputer now.” Cadden inserted the data into the computer, and let the ship do the calculations. Once it was finished, he continued, while fiddling with the cockpit controls. “The coordinates will be transferred to the Infinity. Stand by.”
Once the coordinates were sent, Cadden leaned back once again, and stared at the stars, the controls. “We’d better get going,” he heard Cazzik once again.
“You go ahead.” Cadden moved to the controls. “Take Ryy’Suuk and Jerik with you. I’ll meet you there.” The ship detached from the Infinity, and began to drift away from the Corvette. “I’ve got a house call I need to make.”
Cazzik sounded confused when he made his hesitated affirmation, and soon the ship launched into hyperspace, headed for the location of the City of the Jedi. Leaving the Inferno alone in orbit. Cadden got to work on the controls establishing an audio link. He then sent his transmission.
Once it was finished, Cadden punched in the coordinates for the City of the Jedi, and soon the Inferno was on its way. He would be expected to arrive five to ten minutes after Cazzik and the crew of the Infinity would, due to his delay, but Cadden didn’t feel it a big enough a deal. What he hoped for, however, was that the cavalry would arrive on time.

”Your path as a Jedi was a difficult one,” the voice said to him, “but your struggle with your inner darkness is far from over. It will be a struggle that will last your entire life. You have touched the Dark Side, and at times you do not hesitate to use it. This could potentially lead to your Second Fall.”
It was Kladaar’s voice. Cadden, even while asleep, knew it to be the case. Which meant that he was experiencing another of his visions. They have been occurring more frequently lately, as well, which worried him, as this type of thing typically happened when something big was about to happen. Something big, and important… often resulting in an unfavorable chain of events.
“Do you recall what I told you on Hoth?” Kladaar continued.
“Yes,” Cadden’s conscious responded. “A Jedi is free to follow the path he has chosen, but do not mistake the path of the Dark Side to be the strongest of the two. It is merely the easiest.”
“You will face yet another trial.” Another trial? “It cannot be avoided, and it will be a very hard one, and will be revealed by the events surrounding the City of the Jedi.”
“What do you mean?” Cadden asked. “What kind of trial is this?”
“I cannot say,” Kladaar responded. “I would like to tell you, but the Force forbids it. I am only allowed to offer you this warning – the Dark Side is not easily defeated. Though it can be defeated, to do so requires every ounce of strength. Do not think your battle with the Dark Side is over, Cadden. No, it has just begun.”
“How am I to prepare for this trial?”
“You cannot. For this is the only preparation you may have. The foresight that a trial is on the horizon, and will require everything you have learned to fight it, is all that you have, and enough to prepare you. You, Cadden, need to walk the path of a Jedi, not of a Mandalorian. The Nomad Soul tricked you, he told you that your bloodline is Mandalorian. Just because one Blackthorne was Mandalorian, does not mean it is your legacy. No… your legacy lies with the Jedi. Most Blackthornes have been in the Jedi Order, including your great-grandfather Akitane… myself… your father.”
“Do you mean to say I should abandon the Mandalorians? Leave them to return to their old ways?”
“No, Cadden… but you will find yourself with a decision, before this trial begins. If you choose correctly, you will find yourself better prepared. But, if you do not… it could very well mean the end.”
“The end? Of the galaxy?”
“Do what must be done, Cadden,” Kladaar continued, ignoring Cadden’s question. “You must do what is right, even when you have no other choice. Even if it costs your own life… do what is right.”
Cadden awoke, sweaty. Another vision, to be sure. But, once again, Kladaar’s words echoed in his head. “You must do what is right, even when you have no other choice.” His father had already informed him of the false bloodline link that Trak offered the Blackthornes, but Kladaar repeating it to him made him realize just who he had become. He was treading too close, dangerously close, to becoming who he once was, on that ice world Talmohkt, so many years ago.
No. Not again. He had to make things right, he had to finish instilling this new code into the Protectors, build this new generation of warriors and almost-warriors to guard and abide by the Code of Honor he set forth with their lives. Cadden narrowed his eyes, and looked over at his helmet, sitting there, waiting for him to slip it on. This nonsense must end, he thought.
OOC: Can you tell I was waiting?
Don't bother asking about any of that vision stuff. I ain't tellin'.

Cazzik was unawarwe what Cadden's house call was, but he had no doubt that it was important if he wanted Cazzik and the others to go on ahead without him. The coordinates that Neddac had come up with took them to a planet called Taylon, in the Mid Rim, not far from the Meridian Sector. Wyn felt anxious, unable to recall the last time he had felt this way. He sat in the commanders chair and reviewed all the information the Infinity had on Taylon. He was slightly surprised that this Dark Master Kamulos had not looked here. The records showed a high level of Jedi activity on the planet over the course of thousands of years. The planet's government had even been directly under the control of certain Jedi groups through the ages.
Of course, then a second thought occured to Wyn. What if Kamulos had checked there. Perhaps the city was destroyed. If that was the case, then at least he knew the Dark Side wouldn't be able to inhabit it. But if the history of this place was true, then something as sophisticated as the city of Kora could not be eliminated without someone recording it. No, it was on Taylon, and most likely, hidden from view. The Jedi Master raised his head just as they came out of hyperspace. He stood and approached the viewport. The planet was massive, mostly covered in water, though there were three decent sized continents that could be seen.
The ocean looked like it went on forever. It reminded him a lot of Kamino. That was the only time he had ever seen so much water in one place. Cazzik turned to one of the droids.
"Are the scanners picking up anything?"
The droid nodded.
"Roger, roger. On all three continents. They are heavily populated and seem to possess average galactic technology."
The Jedi Master stared down at the planet for a moment.
"You didn't pick up any advanced technology at all?"
The droid shook his mechanical head. Cazzik's heart sank a little. This was a large planet, given there wasn't much land. He knew it wouldn't be that easy. Nothing ever was. Before he gave orders to land on the closest continent the droid spoke again.
"Master Wyn! I am picking up a large disturbance in the middle of the ocean. Energy readings are off the scale, sir."
Cazzik jumped back into the commanders chair.
"Take us within visual range, no closer."
The droid's hands whirled about at the helm.
"Roger, roger."
The Infinity entered the atmoshpere and headed towards the location of the disturbance. They arrived within minutes to find a huge area of the ocean bubbling and swirling around. Something was beneath the ocean. Cazzik, and even the droids, watched in astonishment as a massive city rose from the depths of the abyss. He had never seen anything like it, and he had seen a lot.
It took several minutes for the city to completely rise from the sea. It was an amazing sight to behold. It looked silver, constructed entirely of some kind of more elegant looking metal. Wyn had to look for himself at the scanner readings. The technology was more advanced than anything in the Infinity's database. This was Kora, alright. This was the City of the Jedi.
He turned to look at the droid at the helm.
"Can you find a place to land this thing?"
The droid nodded.
"Roger, roger. Many places, sir. The city is much larger than a Star Destroyer."
Wyn nodded.
"Good, then take us in."
He told another droid to get Ryy'Suuk, Jerik, Jessica, and even the clone, Red Seven, to the lowering ramp. Cazzik waited for them as the Infinity set down on one of many landing pads. The ramp extended to the ground below and Cazzik checked to make sure his lightsaber was in place. One by one his companions arrived next to him. Without saying a word he smiled at each of them and then descended to the City of the Jedi.

Cadden brought the Inferno out of hyperspace, coming up to the water world that was called Taylon. He frowned, looking over the data that Neddac was able to decode, and back at the planet. “Strange place for a city,” he commented dryly. “Can you find them?”
Neddac got to work searching for anything that would be useful. “There are three continents, most of the planet is water… wait… sensors are picking up something.” Neddac’s armored head looked up, and examined the planet they were rapidly approaching. “There.” He pointed in the general direction they had to travel. Cadden nodded, and adjusted the ship slightly to the new course. Once they got closer, they could find the others more easily.
Meanwhile, on the surface of the City of the Jedi below, Jerik was looking around in mixed awe and confusion at the place they had arrived at. A sense of power belonged to this place, far more advanced for its time, and yet seemed to have never been tainted by the Dark Side. Ever.
As they walked toward the city, he could feel another’s presence here, and it seemed to be approaching quickly. He heard a faint sound, and looked in the direction of a craft coming from the city’s core. Frowning, he said to Cazzik, “There.” That was all he spoke, as the craft approached, and landed not too far away. It was a transportation craft, of Old Republic design. Jerik recalled seeing images of them from the databanks. Soon, the door to the transport craft opened, and out stepped a robed, horned figure.
He approached, and was easily identified as an Iktotchi. He was of standard qualities to Iktotchi, which made him appear as nobody special. If it weren’t for the fact that he was here, before them. “Greetings, Master Jedi,” the Iktotchi said, stopping a comfortable distance from the group. Jerik could sense the Force flowing through the individual; he did not attempt to hide it. That could be good, but it could be disastrous as well. “I am Rayatryn Jeib, Jedi Master and guardian of the City of the Jedi.”
Jerik looked between Cazzik and Rayatryn, pondering the outcome of this meeting. He spared a glance at the others, and from what he could tell, the feeling was mutual. However, he could not sense the Dark Side in this individual. Well, at least, no more than what one could expect to find in a Jedi, since all beings had the Dark Side. But this one, he was at peace, calm, in control. Jerik was confident he was a warrior of the light.
OOC: Kinda crappy, but whatever. Get this sucker rolling, Cazzik! Yeesh.

Cazzik bowed his head to the Iktochi, but wasn't able to get a word out before a shuttle was seen flying towards their location. It landed next to the Infinity and its landing ramp immediately descended to the ground. A young girl, with tribal like art on her face and arms stepped out. She had long brown hair, and piercing green eyes. A lightsaber hung at her belt. She immediately locked eyes with Cazzik. The Jedi Master felt like he should know her somehow but couldn't place her face. This was not the case with the second occupant of the shuttle.
He had changed. His face was hard and no longer innocent. His robes were dark, and where once he had carried one saber, he now had two. Cazzik's heart jumped at the sight of him. It was his son, Caius. The Jedi Master didn't move as the two approached. Wyn didn't know what to say, so it was his son that broke the silence.
"Hello father."
Cazzik got over his speechlessness as fast as he could. Though it still felt like an eternity before he had said anything.
"Caius......How did you find......I mean, where have you...."
Caius cut him off. He certainly had changed. Where once he had been a loyaly, young Jedi Knight, he was now something else. Power radiated from him, though it was uncontrolled. And Cazzik could sense the shadow of the Dark Side all around him, though it had not claimed his son yet.
"We don't have time for questions, father. This is Jaina," he said motioning to the girl. "We are here to help you defend the City of the Jedi. I have been on the mainland for weeks preparing for battle. I knew you would find this place before Kamulos did. I had discovered its planetary location, but it did not become visible until you arrived."
Caius looked at Cazzik's companions one by one, finally settling on the Iktochi. The other Jedi Master could no doubt sense the same thing Cazzik could. Caius may still be a Jedi, but he was walking a very fine line. Cazzik started to speak again but stopped cold. He could tell Caius and Rayatryn Jeib had felt it too. It was Caius who yet again broke the silence.
"They've arrived."

OOC: That's okay. I need to land, anyway....
IC:
Once they got closer, Cadden could see the location that Cazzik, and others... including a darker presence, very similar to one he bore, on one spot, in the middle of the vast ocean. Cadden narrowed his eyes, and brought the Inferno around. However, before he could land, the sensors screamed to life, and Cadden could feel a large force coming in-system. It wasn't his, he knew that much. Which could only mean...
"Sithspit!" Cadden yelled. He knew that Kamulos and them would arrive, but he did not think it would be before they were ready to defend the city against them. With a disgusted grunt, Cadden aborted his approach vector. The least he could do was hold them off in space, grant them a little extra time on the ground to do whatever they would need to do to prepare for the attack.
From the ground, Cazzik and his allies could see a YT-2000 swoop toward the city, then suddenly peel off, rolling back around and shooting up toward space above. It was clear what Cadden was planning on doing. However, unbeknowingst to the rest of them, Cadden also had a wild card up his own sleeve. He was not expecting to fight the battle in space for long.

Cazzik watched as Cadden's ship turned and flew back into space. The Jedi Master had not expected their enemies so soon. He frowned and turned to the others.
"We cannot allow the city to fall to this Dark Jedi."
He looked up at the sky. It was getting dark, and very soon the battle would begin. For Cadden, it had most likely all ready started. He heard Red Seven check his weapons for ammo, and he listened to Jerik's steady breathing. Kamulos was going to send an army their way, but Cazzik had realized he didn't need to panic. He had an army behind him as well.
"I have no idea what Cadden is planning. But soon troops will arrive. We need to be ready."
He looked at each of them.
"Jessica, you'll watch my back. Stay behind me and keep shooting at anything that doesn't look friendly. Ryy'Suuk and Red Seven, stay close to each other and behind the Jedi. Find a high place and pick them off. Caius...."
He was cut short by his son.
"I'll be fine. Jaina will stay with Jerik."
Caius locked eyes with his brother for only a moment.
"She'll watch your back."
Before anyone could protest a thunderous sound could be heard from above.
*****
Four Enslaver Star Destroyers burst out of hyperspace above the planet Taylon. The Iktochi Dark Jedi, Raze, grinned as he stared down at the planet from the bridge of the Apocalypse, the Cylon flagship. He could feel the presence of Jedi. They had beaten them here, It was no matter. They wouldn't survive the coming battle.
"Commander, can you locate the city?"
The man nodded, never relaxing his rigid stance.
"Yes, Master Raze. It is in the middle of the ocean. Several life forms can be detected on its surface."
Before Raze spoke again, another officer turned to them.
"Commander. We have a presumed hostile YT-2000 exting the atmosphere."
Raze glared out the viewport for a moment before shutting his eyes. He took a deep breath before reopening his eyes.
"Jedi."
He looked at the commanding officer.
"Launch three squadrons of fighters. Tell them to run interference for the shuttles. If the Jedi start getting through, launch more."
Raze grinned again.
"Prepare the troops and let their generals know the time has come."
*****
On board the Enslaver Star Destroyer Godfall K471 recieved the order from Raze to launch his troops. Undoubtedly Azriel and Raven, who were also on board the Apocalypse, were going to be in the first wave. The cyborg turned to the man who was going to lead his troops in to battle; the Mandalorian Kir Varrus.
"Prepare the droids. Launch immediately."
The warrior nodded.
"Honor to us all."

"Fighters," Neddac observed, "coming in fast." Without even being told, the human replica droid left the cockpit, and made his way to the dorsal gunner's turret. Cadden remained composed, and allowed the Force to consume him.
"Here we go," he breathed. Within moments, the engagement began.

Rayatryn looked up at the sky for a moment, before looking back at his new allies. "Whatever may happen," he said, "we are the only defense. I do not know enough of this place to activate the proper defenses." He nodded to Cazzik. "We should get ready. I'm sure that our enemies will be here momentarily. Your friend will not be able to hold them off for long."
"He doesn't plan to," Jerik said, calmly, quiety. "He's buying us time. And... something else, but I do not know what. It would be best if we take advantage of my father's move, and establish a defensive position."

Jessica gripped her blaster rifle even tighter. She had been practicing while in transit to this planet, but she still wasn't very good at firing the thing. Still, though, Cazzik trusted her to watch his back and she was not about to let him down. Off to one side Rayatryn and Jerik were quietly discussing something, but she barely paid them any attention. She was nervous, and her anxiety was starting to get the best of her.
"It would be best if we take advantage of my father's move, and establish a defensive position," Jerik was saying, and the others nodded in response. As they turned to enter the city Jessica stopped Cazzik suddenly.
"I thought about what you said earlier," she told him, "and if we make it out of this alive I just want you to know my answer is yes."
Then, without waiting for a response, she turned and followed the others into the city to help setup the defenses...

Cazzik allowed himself to smile as Jessica walked away. He knew she had it in her. She would be a great Jedi one day. He would make sure they survived, just so she got that chance if nothing else. The loud, thundering noises grew closer, and Cazzik watched as they took form. Landing shuttles. So many of them. The troops were coming. He whirled around and yelled at the others.
"Take positions!"
Wyn unhooked his weapon just as the first shuttle landed. The ramp lowered, and droid soldiers flooded out. He ignited his weapon, the brilliant saphire blade pushing back the darkness around him. He took a moment, taking in a deep breath as the droids grew closer. More shuttles had landed, and the sky was still full of the others making their way to the city. Cazzik's eyes were shut as he calmed himself. This was yet another test, another battle. He had fought so many before this. Some he won, some he didn't. He all ready knew the outcome of this battle. He was a Jedi, and he would show these trespassers just what that meant.
His eyes snapped open and he leapt into the air, blocking blaster fire with his saber. He landed in the middle of the first group and quickly dispatched them with one swing of his weapon. He quickly glanced around to make sure he knew where Jessica was. She was watching his back, which meant he needed to do the same for her. He brought his blade down and across, taking out several more droids. Summoning the Force he pushed the enitre tide of droids back, long enough for him to turn and yell to the others.
"Cadden has a plan! Until something happens, make them regret ever coming here!"
He raised his blade and charged the enemy wave.
*****
Red Seven watched as the droids came. For him, it had seemed like only yesterday that he was fighting another mechanical army, alongside other Jedi. His former general, Aayla Secura, had been a courageous and honorable warrior. Cazzik Wyn now reminded him of her. He had pushed the enitre army back with the Force and then charged them all. Seven was amazed. This was not a battle he was planning on surviving. The sky was full of troop shuttles, and all ready there were so many droids on the ground.
He raised his weapon. If he was to die, then he would die fighting alongside the Jedi, as he should have all those years ago. He found some high ground and began firing at every droid he could.
*****
Jaina stuck by Jerik's side, just as Caius had told her to do. She had watched the master, Cazzik, charge the droids. He was powerful, and now she realized why Caius was like he was. He was much like his father. She had noticed that Jerik was powerful too. She could sense it. She was very in tune with the Force for someone of her skill level, or thats what Caius had told her. If she could not fight alongside him, she was happy she was with his brother.
The droids surrounded them, and she activated her weapon. The emerald blade moved elegantly in her grasp as she cut down the mechanical enemies. She swung at another, but her blade was interrupted by another saber; a red one. A woman in black leather with a curved lightsaber hilt grinned back at her.
"Well, hello there little Jedi."
Jaina attacked without hesitation, but the woman was extremely skilled. She parried all of the younger Jedi's attacks with ease and eventually gave her a powerful blow to the stomach with her foot. Jaina could barely breath. She pulled her weapon to her as more droids flooded in to aid the Dark Jedi. She turned her head and yelled for aid.
"Jerik! Help!"
*****
Caius watched the others charge. He slowly unhooked his weapons. The time had come. He would help the others defend the city, but his true motive was to cripple Kamulos' organization, even if only for a while. His enemy had foolishly sent the majority of his arsenal. Azriel and Raven were all ready on the planet, and the Mandalorian would arrive in seconds. Undoubtedly K471 was in orbit, and would likely come to the city once he realized Cazzik Wyn was on it. And the one leading the attack would come when he realized Caius, now known as Sion, was here.
He closed his eyes and reached out to the Force. His enemy would feel him.
Raze. Kamulos' lackey. Face me, coward.
Sion smiled. He had felt Raze's anger. The Iktochi was coming.

Rayatryn, like Caius, was fine solo. He was a battle master, after all. He engaged the droids head-on, leaping into battle, allowing the Force to flow through him like a rushing tidal wave of energy. His speed was awesome, and his grace near-perfect. At first, the Iktotchi Jedi Master was using only one lightsaber, but soon he had to resort to two, as the droids were outnumbering him. Alongside the blue blade he began with, his green blade accompanied its movement, and both found their marks in steel, and deflected blaster bolts, alike. Unfortunately, not even he would last very long without some additional aid. The Clone Wars had proven that Battle Droids could overcome even Jedi Masters, and he remembered that lesson too well as he fought.
__________
Ryy'Suuk followed the Clone Soldier into the building complex. The two had to stick together. Unlike their Jedi allies, they were far too vulnerable to engage in waves and waves of droids. While Red Seven focused on one group, Ryy'Suuk used his blaster rifle on another, firing at droids that posed a greater threat to their allies, and occassionally the droid or two that either spotted them or were growing too close to their current location. This was, indeed, their last stand, and they had to stand firm.
__________
Jerik, however, was regularly using his Form III movements, as he continued to combat the droids. It was very effective against blaster technology, and when he was close enough to each droid, he would momentarily shift to Form IV to cut them apart. He was using his Battle Precognition and Force Valor techniques far too regularly, to keep his heart rate down and remain one step ahead of the droids. Even with droids, he found, Battle Precognition had its advantages. Their signatures in the Force were faint, barely noticable, but they were there. And Jerik was concentrating so hard on feeling their energies and responding to their movements, that he didn't even feel another presence arrive not too far off.
"Jerik!" he heard a female voice from behind shout, and he turned his head to spare a glance. "Help!"
Jaina was in trouble. A white-haired woman, in a skin-tight body suit, wielding a red-bladed lightsaber was besting her in combat. No! he thought, and immediately leapt from his position.
The Dark Jedi brought her glowing red blade around to finish Jaina off, and sent the lightsaber bearing down on her prey. It stopped nearly half-way, as Jerik reached out with his own yellow blade, stopping it from hitting its mark. "Now that's not very nice," he said to the woman. She smirked, and withdrew her own lightsaber from what would have otherwise been Jaina's corpse. "Jaina... I'll deal with her. I sense great power... she's skilled with the lightsaber." Jerik twirled his blade around once, bringing it back near his shoulder, hands gripping the hilt properly, cocking to the blade high. His yellow saber angled upward and away from the Dark Jedi.
She granted Jerik a mocking laugh. "A boy?" he taunted. "Daring to challenge a master of the Dark Side?"
Jerik focused on the Force, allowing it to augment his morale and fighting spirit. At the same time, he felt his muscles go into something of a loose, relaxed state, despite the fact they were still tense. He felt attuned to the Force, and could sense his enemy's ambitions. He was ready for this duel, this test of his abilities.
__________
More laserfire from the turrets erupted from the Inferno as the remaining fighters were dealt with. Cadden grimmaced. "Frell," he muttered, "where are they?" He brought the ship around to bear upon the continuous landing party. He knew that the fighters would be a mere distraction so they could get several of the craft through without having to risk Cadden destroying a healty portion. However, he also knew that, if they did not deal with the four squadrons launched at them, they would have died in orbit, as the Inferno would have been torn to pieces by the fighters' barrage of laserfire.
Cadden had been notified that the reinforcements he called for were on the way, but he didn't imagine that it would take them this long to arrive. Perhaps the launch experienced some difficulties. He sure hoped not. Without this aid, they would surely lose this battle.

OOC: You're post was fine, Cadden. No worries.

On board the Godfall K471 watched the remainder of the shuttles vanish into the atmosphere of the planet. Through his link to the droid army he could see all that was happening. Jedi fought against overwhelming odds. There was a Wookie, a soldier in clone trooper armor, and a woman who fought as well. The cyborg stopped suddenly. The woman caught his attention. Actually, not so much her as the person she was fighting alongside. Anger swelled up in him.
The man responsible for the destruction of his empire, the Cult Mechanicus, was on the planet below. The Jedi Cazzik Wyn had destroyed his army and nearly killed K471. It was time the favor was repayed. He turned and stormed out of the bridge, making his way to one of the remaining landing shuttles. With two squadrons escorting him, he made his way to the city.

Raven smiled mischieviously at Jerik. Never removing her eyes from his she spoke.
"Foolish little Jedi. You have no idea what the power of the Dark Side is capable of."
She lunged at him but was unsuccesful in her attack. With her blade pointed down in front of her she began to walk slowly, back and forth, never taking her eyes off of him. Eventually she smiled again.
"You have some skill with a saber. I'll grant you that, little Jedi. But now, your time is at an end."
She swung her blade quickly and charged him once more with an almost unnatural speed.

Sion had made his way to the top of one of the many towers. He stood outside on a large balcony. From here he could see the massive droid army, but his allies were not visible at all. It would only be matter of time before this battle was lost. However, he could sense something else. Perhaps aid. All the players had not yet reached the planet. The wind blew violently, and the sky, black as it was, still gave way to the light of the blaster fire and engine trails. He watched as a shuttle landed not far from his location.
It was only a minute or two before the presence in the shuttle was upon him. He did not turn right away. His eyes scanned the battle field as the footsteps of his enemy sounded behind him. The Iktochi spoke first.
"Sion. Brother of my master. How Kamulos will repay me for destroying you."
Sion turned to the Dark Jedi.
"You can't defeat me, Raze. I believe you know that. Besides, once I'm done with you I plan on having a little reunion with your master. He will die by my hand very soon."
Raze shook his head slightly. His eyes glistened as he unhooked his two sabers.
"You are very wrong. Even if you were to get past me, you'll never destroy a Detori Lord."
Sion gripped his own weapons and narrowed his eyes.
"So, the Detori have returned then. I helped bring about their downfall once, I can do it again."
The Iktochi ignited his weapons. A brilliant ruby blade erupted from each hilt. His eyes reflected the light, making him look more menacing then he ever had before.
"The only thing you'll be accomplishing ever again is becoming one with the Force!"
Sion's sabers switched on. Dark blue blades lit up the sky around him. Taking a battle stance he glared at his brother's greatest servant.
"We shall see."
There was a swift movement of light, then a clashing of electricity. The duel had began.

Cadden watched as the last of the transports entered the atmosphere. He and Neddac had managed to take down a couple, but not without taking some minor damage to the ship in the process. He grimmaced. "Frellin'... where are they?!" As if it were a queue, Cadden heard the sensors scream to life, and let out a sigh of relief. "The frell' took 'em so long?"
Three Mandalorian Dungeon Ships, the Conqueror, eighteen Meteor-class Q-Carriers, the Rogue Star, one dozen Constable-class Enforcement Cruisers, fourteen Pursuer-class Enforcement Ships, eight Stathas-class Freighters, and Jaylin's Nomad's Pride dropped out of hyperspace, in near perfect timing.
"What the frell took you so long?" Cadden said through the comm. unit. "I was beginning to wonder if you even got my message."
"Well," Ghrark responded, "we were awaiting your call, and..." Ghrark was cut off when he realized what they were up again. "You expect us to fight that?"
Cadden nodded. "I'm heading to the surface," he said. "Once the Dungeon Ships unload, have them aid you in orbit, here. The freighters and transport ships will be of use fending off these fighters, as well." There was a short pause. "We need to defeat the enemy here, Ghrark. We cannot let them take the city. What we do today..." another pause, as the realization of the second half of what he was to say sunk in, "... will be echoed in history...."
Cadden snapped the freighter around, and begun back toward the surface. He needed to find a spot to land, where the majority of his forces will follow.
__________
Jerik blocked the blow, allowing the Force to flow freely through him, consuming him and guiding his every action. Each move his opponent performed, he anticipated. And each followthrough he made in response was fueled by the Force. He felt his resolve, speed and accuracy skyrocket as he fought the Dark Jedi.
He was moving quicker than normal, striking more powerfully... and, most importantly, greater accuracy. He blocked, parried, and dodged swing after swing, and was obviously getting on his opponent's nerves.
They entered a standstill point, and Jerik held his blade vertically, gripping it with both palms. "Funny," he said, "didn't you say my time would be at an end? And yet," Jerik grinned, "here I stand, ready to take on whatever you have to offer." His grin faded. "As you can see, the Dark Side is not stronger. You cannot win this battle... give in, repent from the Dark Side."
OOC: Unless you're willing to tell me how she fights, aside from swinging quickly and lunging - which appears to be Fast style - I'm gonna let you RP her. The true battle with Mandalorians invovled will begin in my next post. May not be a good realistic time lapse, but it'll get things going more.

Raven's smile had now faded. Her anger was all that remained. She could feel it coursing through her, giving her strength. This foolish Jedi had challenged her! HER! She was servant to Lord Kamulos himself. No one would make a mockery of her.
"I promise, Jedi. You will die this night!"
That as her final words for the remainder of the battle, she raised her blade and lunged at him yet again.

Cazzik blocked a blaster bolt directed at Jessica. He moved closer to her as he realized she was becoming more of a target then she had been previously. With his saber acting as a shield for the both of them he took a moment to speak.
"Jessica! I'm sure this place has some type of weapon that can bring down those ships in orbit! We need to get into the city and find them! Follow my lead, we move together!"
They slowly back away from their position. The droid soldiers moved in pursuit, however not hitting either of them. In the back of his mind Master Wyn worried about the others. He was an expert swordsman, having mastered almost all of saber forms he had been introduced too. And here he was, having difficulty deflecting so many shots. As they were nearing a doorway that led into the city the droids paused, then turned and headed back towards the others. Cazzik knew something was terribly wrong. Before he could say anything to Jessica a mechanical voice drew his attention to the balcony above them.
"Ah..Master Wyn. So kind of you to grant me with the opportunity to take my revenge."
Cazzik whirled around and looked up. At first the cyborg was unfamiliar to him. Then he realized who it was. Though it was a different body, it was certainly the same being.
"K471. It looks as if you were telling the truth. I guess you are harder to kill than I thought."
He didn't have time for this. K471 was dangerous, and a duel with him would be prolonged, especially if this body was anything like his old. He needed to get into the city now.

Jerik parried the blow, and spun off to the side. Twirling his lightsaber in hand, he sliced at Raven, but hit air as the Dark Jedi ducked out of the way. She stucked her foot out, attempting to trip Jerik, who in turn flipped over her head. As he was parellel to her, their two blades clashed, and Jerik landed, pivoting on his foot and striking her already up and ready blade.

Cadden brought the Inferno down to a largely vacant landing zone, and powered the ship down. "Neddac," he yelled through the ship, "join me!" The human replica droid emerged from the boarding ramp with Cadden, as the two witnessed several Mandalorian craft - Meteor-class Q-Carriers, Pursuers, Constables, Stathases, touch down nearby. Little time passed as the ships unloaded their passengers. In the atmosphere, Cadden heard the scream of engines, and looked up as the Shadow V Combat Airspeeders flew overhead. Thirty-six ships in total. They made their way to join the battle ahead. Soon, the Rogue Star accompanied the landing party.
Unclipping his lightsaber and activating it, Cadden pointed toward the battlefield in the near distance. With a yell, he led his Mandalorians into battle.
__________
The duel continued in such ferocity. Jerik was blocking, dodging, and counter-attacking every chance he could get, but Raven was, indeed, a powerful duelist. He began to feel himself weaken, but would not allow himself to fail. He dug deeper, attempting to maintain a stronger connection to the Force, as the Dark Jedi continued to pummel him with blow after blow, attack after attack.
Then she made her mistake. She jabbed, when she should have swung. Jerik met the blade with his own, then twirling the blades loose, Jerik put up a kick to Raven's gut, in an upward motion. She was unprepared, and the kick was with the proper strength and timing that she flew back.
Jerik followed, and his blade met with her gut just after she hit the ground. Her expression was blank, with hints of confusion. "I'm sorry to have to let you break that promise," Jerik told her. She attempted one last attack, but Jerik beat it back, and went for the throat.
"You know what your mistake was?" he asked the dead Dark Jedi. "You underestimated a 'little Jedi'." Jerik turned, looked around for Jaina. Soon, he found her, holding her own against the droids. Without thinking any more about his duel, he rejoined her in the fight.
__________
Cadden was leading his Mandalorians right into the front lines. Without so much as a central strategy, they were doing what they did best - rushing into battle and adapting to every change, minor or otherwise. Cadden had his second lightsaber out, by this time, as he was growing overwhelmed by the massive laserfire of the army of droids. He was deflecting with one blade while attacking with the other, often switching back and forth to ensure the fluid motion of his unique combat style.
He then sensed a disturbance in the Force. Off in the direction of Cazzik Wyn, he realized, as he attempted to connect to it. "Garen Starfall," he spoke through his helmet's built-in comm. system, "you have full command in my absense." He cut down several more droids in his way, and sent a wave of telekinetic energy toward the rest, followed by a leap forward with the Force aiding the push off the ground.
He landed behind, and used the Force to accelerate his muscles, sprinting as fast as he was allowed, toward the source of this disturbance.
__________
Guan landed the White Fang near Cazzik's Infinity. He was sent here to meet up with his father, but he knew that he would have time for that later. He sensed a disturbance near where Jerik was.
When he arrived, yellow blade ignited, he found the corpse of a woman, with her lightsaber nearby. Guan looked down at her for a moment, then back up at his brother. He was fighting fiercely, fearlessly, alongside another woman. Frowning, he was about to join the two, when he saw a group of droids coming from another direction to surround them. Later, he promised himself, and moved to take action.
OOC: Okay... that ought to cover that for the time being. I'll post more stuff in the next one. Mandalorians... kick their butts!

The two brothers watched their leader, their Mandalore leap away to give aid somewhere else in the battle. Garen Starfall's voice came into their helms. "Mandalorians, forward! For our honor and for the defense of these here, forward!" The two brothers had grown up around each other and fought well together, a testament to their training together under their father and later under the other skilled tutors of the Mandalorian Protectors.
Red blaster shots were the only words the Mandalorians spoke. And in the minds of the Protectors, their words were well received. Score after score of enemy droids fell under the advancing Mandalorians. Simply put, the Mandalorians were the lords of death on this battlefield, save for the Jedi.
Quon pushed his brother quickly, getting him out of the way of a blaster bolt that his younger brother hadn't seen. His brother looked up and nodded, and that was all. They were supposed to look out for each other, and not just themselves. They were all blood brothers in a sense, united under the common honor that they shared. The two were swallowed back into the horde as the onslaught continued.
OOC: Sorry, not in the battle mood to much. I'll get another one up later today, *smirks*

"Jessica! I'm sure this place has some type of weapon that can bring down those ships in orbit! We need to get into the city and find them! Follow my lead, we move together!" Jessica barely heard Cazzik's voice over the roar of the battle. Following closely behind him the two of them made their way slowly into the city. Cazzik covered her with his lightsaber while she fired her blaster at the attacking droids. She hit a few of them, but everything was happening so fast she couldn't be sure if she had finished them for good. Then she heard a strange voice and Cazzik stopped dead in his tracks.
"Ah..Master Wyn. So kind of you to grant me with the opportunity to take my revenge," the droid said, he was standing on the balcony above them and judging from what he said he seemed to know Cazzik.
Cazzik seemed to remember him as well. "K471. It looks as if you were telling the truth. I guess you are harder to kill than I thought."
Jessica brought her blaster rifle to bear on the droid and fired several shots at him, but he easily dodged the blaster bolts and landed on the walkway in front of them laughing mockingly at her feeble attempt to kill him. Jessica crept up behind Cazzik and whispered in his ear. "Now what do we do?"

"Yes mandalore." Garen said awknowledging his orders. Then he opened a battle wide comm channel and yelled into it. "Mandalorians, forward! For our honor and for the defense of these here, forward!" He ran forward firing his carbine from his hip in three shot bursts. The muzzle of the weapon was white hot and the powercell was draining quickly, Garen figured he might need the carbine later so he stowed it in a special laeg holder and pulled out his dual DL-22 blasters which he opened fire with immediately. He was in a full sprint at the droid army and he had no intention of slowing down.
The droids fired shot after shot at Garen but he was so enthused in the moment he didn't even notice the several shots that glanced off his armor. His blaster aim was true taking down another droid with each shot as he neared their seemingly endless ranks. Only fifty meters away he holstered his left blaster and took out his vibrosword. He stopped and turned to his brethern coming. "For Mandalore!" His yell carried into a battlecry that echoed in every mandalorian helmet. Then he turned back towards the droids and fired continuously into their ranks with his blaster until he was close enough to where he tackled a droid and crushed its head with a swift blow from the butt of his pistol. He got off the droid and started to cut down the other droids that were surrounding him using both his pistol and sword in a dance of death and destruction.
OOC: I wanted to make a longer one but I don't have the time. Ill post again later on today.

Cazzik's eyes narrowed as the cyborg dodged Jessica's blasts. This was something he should have suspected. Such a large droid army in so short of time would have been almost impossible for anyone else to create. His apprentice was behind him, whispering.
"Now what do we do?"
Before he answered he sensed something. A smile crossed his face. He raised his sbaer, but made no attempt at an attack. He knew they had to reach the city in order to bring down the fleet. K471 was not going to allow them do that. But he would have a hard time stopping them when he was preoccupied with a Mandalorian Jedi.
"Now, Jessica, we wait for the cavalry."

OOC: Here he is, Topgun. Ready to duke it out.

Kir looked around in utter shock. Under his helmet he watched them counter his droid troops. They were everywhere. Mandalorians. Like him. They had obviously been reorganized under a new Mandalore. Why he was never told was something that irked him slightly. It would have made no difference anyway. He owed Lord Kamulos a life debt. And as a Mandalorian, he would honor it even if it meant his death.
He launched himself into the air and fired numerous shots, taking down several troops. The fact that he was dressed in the same armor as their new enemies would initially confuse the troops. But they would soon catch on, and they would then start firing at him. But if this was his day to die, then he would take as many of his brethren with him as he could.
