WoH Reboot

Cazzik and I are talking about a potential WoH Reboot.

We've tossed some ideas around. Completely redoing the WoH. Removing the Chrell Invasion. We're thinking of smaller character lists and fewer threads. Nich and Shaggy, let me know your thoughts.

I would be interested, work and family permitting. We are a far cry from those days when we had a lot more time...not to mention creative energy...to make a decent post.

Are we going to do this? Anyone else want in other than those mentioned?

MIr and I discussed timeline and we thought one generation after the current heroes in the comics would be a good starting point. That way some of our copy characters could feasibly be children of the originals if someone chose to go that path. We also agreed that getting rid of the Chrell Invasion was for the best. That way everyone can decide when and how a specific hero retired/passed the torch.

We also discussed much smaller lists so there isn't any hoarding of characters. I know I was definitely guilty of that last time. We are completely open to more discussion but the characters we wanted were as follows:

MIR
-Spider-Man and Family
-Daredevil
-War Machine

CAZZIK
-Batman and Family
-Steel (Natasha Irons version)

Those are NOT official claims. We just wanted to be transparent with what we were thinking. We also wanted to limit the amount of copy characters being used as side characters. We can create original characters for that. This will help eliminate the hoarding mentality I think.

Well, you two know which character and family, that I wish. Someone has to properly defend them against the Anti-Kryptonian Haters that come out of Gotham.

You may want to also claim a more street level character as well. Nobody is inviting Superman to fight the Hand or the League of Assassins. That would be boring.

We kind of figured there were three tiers of heroes
1. JLA / Avenger level (Superman, Captain Marvel, Hulk)
2. Street level (Daredevil, Green Arrow, Luke Cage)
3. Teen Titan / Young Avenger level (Robin, Kate Bishop)

We kind of figured both Batman and Spider-Man can play in both the 1st and 2nd level. I don’t think Superman is anything but 1st tier and we were planning a street level thread but I’d be happy to do another thread with you that’s a little more on Superman’s level. Let me know.

Plus, I'm trying to decide on a Street Level figure. I might go with the obvious choice of Wolverine or Deadpool, since they match with either Tier 1 or 2 as well. Plus either would be annoyances to the walking rodent who has too much money and Mommy and Daddy issues.

Nich, seeing as you have claimed the Superman group I can give up Steel if you would prefer I don't use the character. Totally understand and no worries if that's what you want. Just let me know, thanks.

Also, I'm probably getting ahead of myself but I thought it would be fun to do an "Exiles" thread. A group of heroes that travel from one timeline to another. Could have some fun doing that without effecting the main 515 universe. I'm pulling Batman Beyond and Captain Carter into that one.

I have no problem with you using Steel...honestly, I was never a big Steel fan to begin with.

Batman spreading Peace and Love? Get the F outta here. Next thing you know the new Batsuit will have flowers surrounding the Bat Emblem. Maybe adding a smile on the emblem as well. Bob Kane is rolling in his grave....

As for my Street Level, I'll go ahead and take Wolverine for that. His grumpy demeanor is fitting for my current level of emotions.
