Kind of more or less where I'm planning to take the story. Just need a cooler villain name than Placeholder... and a villain. I only want the moon here. ><

I think you might have just doomed him to be called Darth Placeholder by Kalja Falanis - maybe forever.

Anyway, the Kaljas have entered the story. More familiar faces to follow, I'm sure.

I also had a bit of inspiration with Kalja Falanis admiring Faye. Up to you what Faye is doing these days. As I recall, unless something changed after I took a break, she was in a budding relationship with Sigarr and running the Skywalker. However, I figure at some point Kalja Falanis would have come to her for some Palawan martial arts training.

Probably still running the Skywalker maybe? If things have gone well with Sigarr she might have even loosened up a bit.

With Sigarr I honestly don't know...

He's a good man, but I wouldn't be shocked if his biological urges got the better of him.

So maybe things went really well for awhile and then went really wrong.

It's been so long I don't really remember what year it was on the mainboard timeline. I suppose if Kalja's fifty something then Faye's probably had time to get over it, maybe meet someone new. *shrug*

Come to think of it, I might want to refresh myself on what characters I have.

In regards to Faye and Sigarr, feel free to go in whatever direction appeals to you with them. Maybe they got married, even had a kid, and then he cheated on her - resulting in Faye being a very rich woman in the present day of the thread.

Or they could be happily married to the day - which, ironically enough, would also make her a very rich woman.

Happy ending or soap opera. It's all good for Sigarr as far as I'm concerned.

I plan to mostly focus on Cadence, but I'll probably do some more scenes with Caitlyn and Isis. Might see Hirai, maybe a cameo from Felicity at some point, but I'll probably be inside Cadence's head most of the time. Gonna say Akain is out on a mission and hasn't returned yet, unless we get a miracle reappearance from Mir.

For certain I'll bring in Kalja's brother, James, at some point. Perhaps even to the party.

Maybe Clara and Tav. I haven't decided if they'll have a kid. If they do, they'll probably be younger than Cadence.

We'll see how things play out.

Gonna assume Caitlyn let Akain name their son. I don't think Toshiro would have been her first choice.

One other character you should look at is Elena. She was adopted into the Leidias family after all.

Along those same lines, I need to figure out what Reave and Morwenna would be doing.

Upon establishing the temple, Kalja would have for sure sent out invitations to her family and close friends to join her - either to help out or just to have a peaceful place to live.

Which reminds me... Kalja's other friend, Jana Dophi. What became of her?

Ha! You know what? I also thought Jana was one of yours. I guess I'm so used to our characters intermingling that I assumed she had to be. Apologies to Mir if he ever sees this. It's just been a long time, I swear!

I guess I'll need to do some research into Jana's fate.

The AI keeps putting Kalja's hair clip on Cadence instead, which is kinda annoying, but also so consistent that I think we need to work it into the story now. I think I know what gift Kalja is going to give Cadence.

Been getting that too. Also changed Kalja's skin color several times, turned her into a man at one point, and merged Cadence and Kalja together and put Dr. Doom in for some reason.

Sooo, as far as the plot goes, I'm thinking Cult of Shadow revival? At the very least, an attempt is made and maybe thwarted or delayed by our intrepid heroes. Definitely the revival of something, cause that's the flavor of image I've been generating.

I intentionally left quite a few dangling plot points unresolved at the end of the War of Darkness, so that is a definite possibility. In fact, I'll PM you to a particular post I made way back to set things up for the future if I ever wanted to bring them back for something.
