Concord's End OOC

If your thread needs an OOC thread as well, put it here.

Concord's End OOC

Post by Pryde »

So yes, let me get this out of the way first so there's no confusion. This story is a continuation of events that unfold in Fate's Edge (there will be another thread to follow from the perspective of Gabriel and his crew following their separation from Felicity at about the same time). I'll be writing all three stories simultaneously cause that's how I do. Whenever I have an idea I like I want to write it and I want to write it like now, not six months from now (I don't have Cadden's eternal patience :P ).

I have a fairly good idea of what's going to happen in Fate's Edge, but those events only matter to Felicity they're not going to have much weight in this new thread. Instead, this new thread is going to be all about political infighting, maneuvering, backstabbing, frontstabbing, stabbing with lethal and *Cough!* non-lethal things ( ), and political scandal galore. The thread is wide open to anyone who wishes to participate and if you have questions about the setting well it takes place in a sector of space that looks very similar to the Tapani Sector (I figured if I was going to go as far as renaming houses and planets I might as well just create my own sector).

We've got a large sector of space divided into nine or ten provinces (maybe more, maybe less, we'll probably work that out as we go) and each province has a ruling House. There is a council of leaders and a "supreme" leader of sorts chosen from amongst the others to represent the entire sector (we're going to call that the Iron Throne cause that's basically what it is). So at the moment this area is in a turbulent period. There aren't any major conflicts right now but things are a little on edge (there might be a couple of minor houses warring with each other but not enough to cause a concern for the bigger players). Felicity crash lands into the middle of all this and immediately gets embroiled in the politics of the area though she's not a major player at all... Yet. A subplot of this story will involve Felicity uncovering the mysteries of her past.

Mah ears are burning!

You call it patience, I wouldn't exactly agree.

(I only came here because the title said Concord.)

When I have a chance I'm going to put together a list of the characters I've named so far. Sort of getting the feeling I'm going to be dropping a lot of names and it would probably be a good idea to try and keep track of them. >.>

In case anyone is following along with this I rewrote my last post... Technically I did so twice, but I just didn't like either of the first two versions. ><
