That was intense... I do hope now that Marvel has Punisher and Blade back in the fold they'll do something interesting with them. I would love to see a Midnight Sons kinda deal... but that would require them to introduce Dan Keltch as a new Ghost Rider

Well, I was mainly referring to the people that got killed, but the mess was pretty nasty, too. Though one of the upshots is that there was a serious lull in fishing that has let our shrimp and oyster population come back.

Now if we could get the Mississippi river effluvia under control, it'd be a downright nice little gulf.

Also, my first thought was actually that they WERE from a Micheal Bay movie. BAYSPLOSIONS.

And Balsa, Cthulhu only sleeps. Only sleeps. If I were it, I'd pick a nice little bay like this, too. There's the symbolism, being right by the crater that killed the dinosaurs, and all that. Plus there's Sargasso seas, a Bermuda triangle, lots of island civilizations to chew on for a snack before the end of the world.

I saw this on TED and I thought it was pretty neat: HULC Exoskeleton.

While it's also being applied to assist paraplegics to walk, I was personally intrigued by the benefits for soldiers since my back was injured doing heavy lifting in the army. The main downside would be the logistics of recharging it in the field, because if it runs out of juice you'll have a 60 kg. load that you weren't feeling suddenly turn into a 90 kg. load.

I think that's why it was mainly being looked at in a support role for the military folks more than a field role... a long-run higher voltage power cell is the one thing really preventing powered battle armor from being a reality right now... I'm thinking the most viable option might be a micro-fision power cell of some sort... but the greenies would go absolutely bonkers over something like that...
