Diablo: The Road East - Act 1 OOC
Yes, it's back. With the new Diablo game coming out soon I've been inspired to write in this universe again so I'm starting this story almost from scratch. The story will follow the plot of the second game from the perspective of our heroes (although some things may be handled differently in our version). All who participated in this story before are welcome to return and all who are interested now please feel free to join us. The first post is set just before the destruction of Tristram and then we'll move through the story act by act from there.
Edit:
Oh, and in case anyone is wondering you are welcome to play any class from the first, second or third game or make up one of your own. My character will be the Rogue from Diablo one.

Oh man oh man. Papa Zuralu the witch doctor, the character I played in that short-lived Diablo 2020 thread - he's back baby.
Except obviously not from the year 2000.
So there's that.
Should I start in Tristram, or in the Rogue Encampment? Because while D2 is pretty well etched into my mind, the first one was not as enjoyable for me.

We're going to be moving on to the Rogue Encampment very shortly so whichever one works for you. As far as Diablo 1 is concerned the story's already moved past that.

I'm sorry for my delayed response, I'll try to have something up as soon as possible it's just, well... Things aren't going very well for me right now.

No probo Pryngles, hope whatever's getting you down sorts itself out. If you want to stay in camp and pick us up later - just say, but I don't mind waiting, entirely 100% up to you, just let me know.

I've left it open for the next poster to decide if the main group has been alerted - so we can either have a scream and a rush on us - or we can sneak through the tunnels for a surprise attack - your call

EDITED!
I figure we call this little quest "Done" and head on to take out Blood Raven, which should be more interesting.
